Winterhall
On a slippery ice rink in the gigantic, freezing cold winter hall in which Antony performed, work by the Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf was exhibited. To get a closer look at the designs from the Flowerbomb collection, visitors were invited to put on ice-skates and take to the ice.

Quite an experience, matching the philosophy of the designer duo: “Fashion is more than garments on a clothes hanger. Fashion is a dream, a way to escape reality. Fashion inspires and puts your fantasy to work,” according to Viktor & Rolf. “During the Flowerbomb show a group of graphic black silhouettes literally transformed into romantic pink flowers. During this fashion show we presented our first perfume. It is quite unusual to combine these two things, but we did it to illustrate that the perfume is an integral part of our work. The perfume was created from the same emotion as our clothes and accessories. In the show we expressed the idea of the perfume, like the power of transformation. The power to change anything around, is something good and positive.”
Besides the entirely black and entirely pink Flowerbomb creations, mannequins dressed in Jeroen van Tuyl, Marcha Hüskes and Wojciech Dziedzic commanded full visitors’ attention in the serene, frosty blue light.
