“I always base my designs on movement. I observe what happens when models walk, dance and jump in them. Movement can be caught in the draping of a sleeve that makes the fabric fall nicely. It can also be in the way the clothes are cut. Like in the skirts with striped patterns. They are an abstracted version of the initial concept: a waving flag.”
