Wendy & Jim

Helga Schania and Hermann Fankhauser are the Austrian designers behind Vienna-based Wendy & Jim. The label was founded in 1997 after Schania and Fankhauser studied together at the Fashion Department at the Institute of Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, which at the time was headed by Helmut Lang. Both designers have a love for radical changes rather than surface detailing, describing their style as ‘slow’ and ‘dry’.
