The Rodarte Girl
Lauren Henderson characterizes the Rodarte girl.

The Rodarte girl is on the outside. She is no one, yet she is everyone. On the inside she is careless, yet wise. Dreaming, yet aware. She is awkward and she is beautiful because of it.
The Rodarte girl doesn’t fit in in the world, but she doesn’t mind. She has created her own where she is easily comfortable and constantly intrigued.
I was sitting in my living room thinking about the Rodarte girl. Thinking about myself. My eye was caught by a little wall hanging I had found in a second hand store. Two girls. Wide-eyed. One captivated, one cautious. Rodarte girls.
Here they are, collaged into Rodarte prints.
