Emmeline de Mooij

Emmeline de Mooij was born in Delft, The Netherlands, in 1978 but today lives and works between Amsterdam and New York. Her work consists of a mixture of performance, photography and installations and deals with evolutionary biology, humanity in relation to nature and the often-ambivalent frontier between freedom and chaos.

Shana Moulton

Shana Moulton is an American artist based in New York who works in video and performance. She is most well known for her serial work Whispering Pines, where her hypochondriac alter ego, Cynthia, uses knick-knacks and New Age objects to substitute her monotonous daily life for a rainbow coloured alternative reality.

Frank Bruggeman

Frank Bruggeman studied at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem but currently lives and works in Rotterdam. His work is mainly installation and photography based and focuses on botany and horticulture. He has worked extensively with Viktor & Rolf, creating flower arrangements for their perfume launches in both Paris and Amsterdam.

Roland Schimmel

Roland Schimmel is a Dutch artist born in 1954 who works with abstract painting, blending the traditional format with digital animations. His work often takes the shape of optical structures featuring a mixture of iridescent haloes and black holes, and deals with neurophysiology as much as it does Taoism with its quest for equilibrium and harmony with the universe.

Gijs Frieling

Gijs Frieling was born in Amsterdam in 1966 and has studied at both the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. He paints murals and creates installations that often relate directly to the architecture of the space they are created in and that question the separation between religious art, decorative painting and conceptual art.

Lotte Geeven

Lotte Geeven is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and, later, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. Her work is installation based and focuses on abstract storytelling in relation to her travels all over the world. Working in multiple dimensions, Geeven reveals a private and whimsical world hidden around the city, creating a non-existent space so that we can partake in her imaginative journeys.
