L’Oréal Professionnel: cross-disciplinary inspiration

For many years, the ambition to stimulate talent and to offer young artists a platform have lead L’Oréal Professionnel to actively collaborate with ArtEZ Institute for the Arts, and later, with Arnhem Mode Biennale. L’Oréal Professionnel is a world-leading expert in hair colour, hair care and styling products. It collaborates with (inter)national salons, providing intensive training and inspiring hairdressers around the globe.
Elise Schoon explains: ‘For this edition of Arnhem Mode Biennale we organise the L’Oréal Color Trophy Awards’ semi-finals in the biennale’s main location on the AkzoNobel grounds. The awards ceremony is known for introducing the newest hair trends and for showcasing craftsmanship and creativity. Since the semi-finals take place next to the main exhibition, we hope to instigate in a cross-disciplinary inspiration between fashion and hair styling.’ Some hair advice for Amber? ‘A warm hairstyle that expresses intimacy and which has a character of its own.’
