Jil Sander

Fashion house Jil Sander was founded by German-born Jil Sander who in the 1980s acquired a cult-like status for her intelligent and sophisticated womenswear. When she stepped down in 2004 it was unsure if someone could ever fill her stylish shoes. A more than apt successor was found in Belgian designer Raf Simons. A favourite of the fashion pack, his designs are often imitated but have yet to be outclassed. No one can match the stylishness that is the house of Jil Sander.
