'Back to the future' for Bless
Thijs Adriaans went on a trip to the year 1997, and came ‘back to the future’ on a mission for Bless.
While driving our DeLorean car to Paris and Berlin, we met Ines Kaag and Desiree Heiss in the year 1997. That year, the two powerhouse ladies created their label Bless, wich led to the birth of some of the most define art and fashion. Both Ines Kaag and Desiree Heiss asked us to go back to the future, to Arnhem Mode Biennale 2011 specifically, to find and return their car. It was supposed to be made out of leather, which wouldn’t make it hard to find.

After several hours of searching, we found the leather ride in its original state. But there was one problem. The car was chained to the ground and it couldn’t be returned to 1997 until the end of Arnhem Mode Biennale. We made a drawing for BLESS' inspection, to make sure we found the right car.
Underneath you can find our drawing of the "Leather Ride", our discovery through time and space!
