And Beyond

Jolanda van den Broek and Brigitte Hendrix both graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2005 and individually managed to grab the fashion world’s attention. Soon after graduating however, they joined forces and so the label ...and beyond was born. More and more people are curious about their interpretations from the other side; collections that challenge what we know as well as what we didn’t know we wanted. Autonomous, conceptual, enticing: And Beyond.

The installation has been made in collaboration with photographers Barrie Hullegie and Sabrina Bongiovanni, who both studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and worked together ever since. Bongiovanni’s experience shooting portraits for various magazines and Hullegie’s perfectionism and technical knowhow combine to produce images that invite the viewer into an imaginary world.
