Amber’s adventure – Education programme like a voyage of discovery
Amber is a mysterious femme fatale. Every time when you think you have caught her, she escapes you and changes herself again. With the education programme Amber’s Adventure students will set out to unravel the mystery of fashion whilst learning about their own choices and identity along the way.

‘Why do I choose a certain garment?’ and ‘Do I feel different when I wear different clothes?’ are both questions addressed in the education programme suited for pupils in primary school (10 –12 years old) and students in secondary school (12 – 14 years old). The programme also triggers their creativity. In small groups students work on the creation of an identity, make mood boards inspired by a scent or experiment with unconventional ‘make up’.
The education programme (only available in Dutch) consists of a preparatory lesson, a creative assignment and a visit to Arnhem Mode Biennale. Afterwards students can share their experiences and results via the assigned Amber’s Adventure page on social network platform Hyves. The best results will also be exhibited on the website of Arnhem Mode Biennale. The winner of this battle of the schools wins a special prize!
