Karola: My scarf.

Karola: My loved ones.
Klaartje: My sewing machines.
4. Why are you crazy about fashion?
Karola: It can astonish me with its beauty, an unusual shape or the pure pleasure that it expresses.
Klaartje: A well-designed item of clothing is something fantastic.
5. What was the message of your most recent show?
Karola: It is an impression of form and colour, it has no message.
Klaartje: I don't have the intention of conveying a message with my work, not consciously at least. I prefer to present a picture.

In unison: Yes and no.

Karola: Art and a general trend, which imbues identity.
Klaartje: Art and a class code.
8. What's your happiest moment so far?
Karola: Meeting Tokio.
Klaartje: Every time a new design works.

Karola: Lemon yellow.
Klaartje: Yellow.
10. What's your wish for the future?
Karola: My wishes know no bounds.
Klaartje: It's widely believed that making a wish in public brings bad luck.
