1. What makes you happy?
Karola:  Designing, finding a good form.

Klaartje: Zeno, my little four-year-old son.

2. Which piece of clothing makes you the happiest?
Karola: My scarf.

Klaartje: A second-hand, hand-smocked, pink chequered dress.

3. Things you can't live without...
Karola: My loved ones.

Klaartje: My sewing machines.

4. Why are you crazy about fashion?
Karola: It can astonish me with its beauty, an unusual shape or the pure pleasure that it expresses.

Klaartje: A well-designed item of clothing is something fantastic.

5. What was the message of your most recent show?
Karola: It is an impression of form and colour, it has no message.

Klaartje: I don't have the intention of conveying a message with my work, not consciously at least. I prefer to present a picture.

6. Can fashion make the world a better place?
In unison: Yes and no.

7. What's the status of fashion today?
Karola: Art and a general trend, which imbues identity.

Klaartje: Art and a class code.

8. What's your happiest moment so far?
Karola: Meeting Tokio.

Klaartje: Every time a new design works.

9. What's the colour of happiness?
Karola: Lemon yellow.

Klaartje: Yellow.

10. What's your wish for the future?

Karola: My wishes know no bounds.

Klaartje: It's widely believed that making a wish in public brings bad luck.
