Family.

From an old sock.

Rummaging and collecting.

4. Why are you crazy about fashion?
I'm not crazy about fashion, but it does intrigue me that it plays such an important role in Western society.

5. What was the message of your most recent show?
I make photos while I'm wandering in nature with plastic bags. I walk across vast plains, climb rocks and make little fires. I leave it open to interpretation whether the person in the photos is homeless, a refugee, a poorly kitted-out tourist or a psychiatric patient.

6. Can fashion make the world a better place?
No. Because the world cannot become better or worse. Certain things can improve, but other things will worsen.

7. What's the status of fashion today?
We are thrown back upon our own wherewithal more than ever before. Fashion compensates for the fact that we're actually all homeless.

8. What's your happiest moment so far?
That's constantly changing. Memories are never trustworthy, you constantly influence them with the feeling that you have at the instant you remember something.

9. What's the colour of happiness?
I can't define happiness with a specific colour - that's too black and white for me ;)

10. What's your wish for the future?
That everything changes and that therefore everything remains the same.
