Visitors for whom all the visual splendour becomes too much, can reflect on it during the Fashion Mass. The heavenly world of fashion has inspired the Wintertuin, a literary production house, to celebrate this
literary ode to mode. A high priest of fashion, a renowned fashion critic, will lead the liturgy of the word. The ceremony is completed with prayers by authors, poets, a choir and musical accompaniment, with contributions by Saskia de Coster en F. Starik, and others. The ceremony takes place in the midst of altars dedicated to Icons of Fashion. The congregation pays honour to the classic garment, a renowned accessory or a couturier venerated as an icon. Come and refresh yourself on these sacred words, sing an ode to mode and light
a candle to invoke fashion insights.
